Verkoop is oorlog en het voeren hiervan kost geld.

Om meteen maar een historische indicatie te geven van de gemiddelde kosten van een daadwerkelijke oorlog; een Amerikaanse soldaat die een jaar lang in Irak actief is kost $ 500.000,-. Met een dergelijk kostenplaatje had de regering Bush zich in 2003 dus ook kunnen afvragen of het niet goedkoper was geweest om Saddam een betaalde vakantie te geven in plaats van 200.000 man naar Irak te sturen.
